Wow! There are sooooo many people praying for us right now; more people than are on my e-mail prayer list. We are watching our Lord literally perform miracle after miracle.
A dear friend of mine said in Sunday School the other week that she had been learning that God cares about every detail of our lives, even the things that we think are small. She said that she had been learning that it is good for us to bring those things to the Lord as well. I've struggled with that, but she opened my eyes to the fact that yes, the Lord does care about all of the details in our lives. To doubt that is to underestimate the power and gracious love of God.
Truly, our prayer request for Ryan to pass his flight exams is really a small thing in the grand scheme of things. After all, there are people all over with illnesses and dying with much greater prayer requests than ours. But that our God cares about every request that drifts (sweet aroma) His way, just shows how much greater He is. If I only knew how many "petty" prayers he's answered in my life. I am so thankful to my God for His undivided attention.
So back to the miracle of Ryan's stage check today. The clouds did, in fact, literally open up for Ryan to fly today. Ryan has to fly with special blinders on his eyes when he flies instrument, so he wasn't able to see out the windows today; but his instructor told him that to either side of them everywhere they went, the clouds held off in the direction they were going. As soon as he left Sugar Valley today, not 30 minutes later I could hear thunder. A few times his instructor almost called the flight off, but God's hand kept moving the clouds almost like the Red Sea. I wish I could explain it as well as Ryan did today, but he did say that the weather today was nothing short of a miracle. Praise God! Thank you so much for your prayers!

Praise the Lord! Isn't it amazing to know that even though there are billions of people in the world, He knows you and Ryan so well that He knows the amount of hairs on your head and the amount of clouds He needs to move! He is awesome!
Febrile seizures are the seizures that babies get if their fever is too high. It's not something that every baby gets, but it's fairly common in babies and the doctors don't worry about it as much as a regualar seizure. He hasn't had any more but they watch him more closely when he gets a fever now.
