Togo--post 12

Hello Everyone,
We were really encouraged yesterday to be able to read all of the comments you have left on our blog. This post is mainly to respond to your comments as best we can.

Michael and Erika,
We look forward to meeting our new neice Ellia very soon. We hope you are not too uncomfortable in the last few weeks of your pregnancy.

Jeremy,
Get out of our apartment! How are my tomatoes? Did the deer get them?
It was good to get to meet Randy up in Kara. He was very generous to give us an aerial tour. We took pictures of the changes he has made to his hangar to share with you. We look forward to collaborating with you and Daniel about our experiences here. Boy, have we learned a lot! Wouldn't it be neat to have you and us and Daniel all sharing airspace!

Aim! Yay! I am so excited that you are going to have another little one! I squealed like a school girl when I read the news. Rylie is going to be such a good big sister just like her mama is.

Mom,
We're glad to hear that the Lord kept you safe from another car accident. Congratulations to Josh Spaulding and his new wife. Sorry to hear about the neighbor.

Allison,
Thanks for your encouragement. We look forward to being back with our own church family,... and hearing a sermon in English.

Brandon,
We found your dung hut. It's right next to ours here in Togo. Unfortunately, chicken quesadillas are hard to come by here and difficult to cook over a fire, but we'll have to see about what we can do with goat. Maybe it would be alright in a quesadilla.

Kerry,
A missionary here said something along the lines of, "you're never really home once you've been to the mission field. At home, you're wishing you were here. Here, you're missing home. Only in heaven will we be completely where we long to be."

Joe, Mel and Our Kids,
We miss you all very much. You guys would love it here. We have thought about you throughout our time here and thought about how much you would enjoy this or that. Kids, thanks so much for your prayers. It is quite an honor to be prayed for with the faith of a child. See you all soon!

We are thankful to hear everything is going well! Erika had Ellia on Tuesday night! Check out www.prayforitaly.com to see pictures and see a CUTE video of when Natalia met her new sister! The way that it ends is precious!! Anyway, looking forward to hearing a complete report of how God used you!

Tomatoes are a feast! Tomato sandwiches have given a pleasant reprieve to the standard peanut butter and jelly the guys have been eating DAILY! There are still tons of green ones awaiting your return. The sunflowers had their day in the sun and now look sad. The flowers at the end have just bloomed in the past few days. Main campus staff/faculty/blue people lunch is on the 6th at the airport so we are cleaning up for that. 2 weeks from tomorrow and no more blue people at MAI. We were all sitting around today saying, has it been 6 weeks already? We are all excited to have ya'll back. I know Ryan is looking forward to being INSTRUMENT RATED!! See ya'll in a few...and I've heard goat BBQ is tasty (according to Mr. Wing at least). Be safe.
