Togo Visa

I'm sending out our visa applications to Togo, Lord willing, tomorrow. There's a list of things you need to have before you can even apply for a visa. For Togo, you have to have your passport and all of that good stuff, along with proof that you have had Yellow Fever shots, a certified check, proof of a return airline ticket, and a letter from your employer stating that you will resume work when you get back. You also have to include a postage paid express envelope so that they can send it all back to you. Now, that isn't all that bad, but it took longer to get all of that stuff together than I thought. The Togolese Embassy says that they will not hold your application for more than 3 days. Then we get to start the process all over again when we apply for our Ghana visas. We'll be landing in Ghana and traveling to Togo with the missionaries. The missionaries tell us that this will be a more exciting way for us to travel since we will get to see a little more of the countryside.

Please pray that the visa process moves quickly and efficiently.
