I’ll be honest with you and tell you that one of the reasons you have not heard from us yet this trimester is because it has been a very difficult time for both of us. We had been struggling with our attitudes and wanted to be careful to share our hearts with you in a way that’s clear, honest, and without complaint. The other day I was reminded that the Lord calls these difficult times trials and tells us to “count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (James 1:2-4 NKJV) I was encouraged by the fact that Jesus allows these trials in our lives to make us more of what we really want to be, just like Him. And so, as you pray for us, pray that we would have a God-honoring perspective in the hard times great and small. We pray the same for you, that you would be able to recognize difficult times as trials meant to graciously and lovingly bring you closer to Jesus and make you more like Him.

We’re excited to finally be moving to Togo in December! This
trimester ends on December 19th, just after our final exams and then
we will celebrate Christmas, pack our things, and depart on the 28th.
We have had a good time here in France, enjoyed great food, and have been
privileged to see things most people only ever dream of. As we finish up
our time here, would you please pray that we would be able to pass our final
set of exams (with flying colors, if you will) and efficiently sew up our lives
here?
We have learned over the last few years that God always
provides for our needs at the right moment, so we know He will do it again as
we transition to Togo, but we also know that God uses you when the information
is made available. With that in mind, over the last year, our support level has
dropped to 92% monthly support. This means two things: Firstly, it means that
the money from our Outfit and Passage (O&P) fund stored up to purchase
things like a refrigerator, freezer, and tariffs on our vehicle in Togo have
been used to cover the amount missing from our monthly support for language
school and living expenses in France. Secondly, it means that if it stays as it
is, we will not have the monthly funding necessary to regularly minister with
the airplane as we’d like. In summary, we need about $5,000-$6,000 in one-time
gifts and $569 in monthly commitments. If you would like to be a part of this,
please contact us or click here to give online. The Buczak ministry account number is 0134443.

Concerning our Togo Aviation Team, fuel is not available in Togo, so we are raising $60,000 to have a container of fuel shipped. Thanks to a friendly donor, $10,000 has been given toward a matching gift campaign. If you are interested in giving toward this campaign, click here. Also, as you may have seen on our Facebook page, we have asked if our Buczak Buzz followers might help us to raise the funds for the seat-belts on our airplane. It's a six-seater airplane and they cost $300 each, so if you're more interested in that project click the link above or visit www.togoaviation.com.
Another brief prayer item: Lately, Ryan and I have had the
privilege of regularly meeting with a friend who does not know the Lord. Would
you pray that the Lord would use our French to create a desire for this
friend to know Jesus? If one could get to heaven on works alone, I’d say that
this person is a prime candidate, but it is only by the recognition of our need
for pardon from sin by the blood of Jesus that one can be saved. So we ask
that you pray that the Holy Spirit would open our mouths and our friend’s eyes
to the Truth and His Salvation.
Once again we thank you for your faithful prayers and
ministry to us. We pray you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas
if you don’t hear from us sooner.
